After leaving A-kim's place, we headed over to see another uncle and cousin. That's Aken on the left and his father (who Mei-O calls Yi-diu) on the right. As you can see, there was not much room in their crowded living room, so I didn't get up and walk around to get any other pictures other than this one which I took over my shoulder while still seated on the sofa. We stayed about an hour, catching up on events of the last nine years since we last saw them, then headed back along the busy Taichung streets to our hotel.

Back at the hotel, it was time to relax. Down below us in the park something was going on, some sort of game involving kids and a parent. I missed getting a video of it, but I did take one of activity in the park (0:42) a little later,

Around 6:30, Meihui came up to our room, bringing some $100 shoes that she bought but later decided she didn't like, wondering if they'd fit Mei-O and if she wanted them. They did, and she did.

We walked Meihui home, stopping at the corner across the street from her house so the two sisters could chat for a while. (Notice Mei-O is wearing the new shoes Meihui just gave her.)

While the sisters chatted, I first took this video (0:25) of traffic along 大連路 crossing 崇德路, then when the light changed, I took the much busier 崇德路 traffic (1:01). The traffic in Taiwan is so much better than in the past, much more organized (though still crazy at times, especially with so many motorbikes).

We walked back to the hotel through the now relatively quiet 民俗公園, then called it a night.
